Julia Klein

 

Tina Loo is a historian at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she teaches and writes about the environment and Canada. A member of the Royal Society of Canada, she is the author of a number of books and articles about subjects ranging from wildlife conservation and the impacts of hydroelectric development to forced relocation in Canada. She has also written for Canada’s History (formerly The Beaver magazine) and is Associate Editor of the Canadian Historical Review. A finalist for the Western Magazine Awards, she has been recognized by the Canadian Historical Association and the Canadian Federation of the Humanities and Social Sciences, winning the Sir John A. Macdonald Prize and the Canada Prize.
